Indiana County High School Football Record BookWelcome to the most comprehensive online database of Indiana County high school football records. After months of work on this project, The Indiana Gazette is proud to present one of the most exhaustive collections of Indiana County football records on the Internet. In the Indiana County High School Football Record Book are the year-by-year records for every high school in the Gazette's coverage area; records for school vs. school meetings; all-time team records; 2008 schedules, rosters and statistics; plus a whole lot more. It will be updated consistently throughout the season, especially on Friday nights when those hard-to-find scores can be found now at your fingertips.
Disclaimer: * Historical and team statistics are compiled from the Gazette record books, and reflect only the years indicated above. They will be updated periodically to reflect previous years. The records are also inclusive of the teams currently in the Gazette's coverage area. * Until further notice, Ligonier Valley's individual and team stats are only since 2000. * Rosters are as is and are subject to change. * Most schools have All-Time Year-by-Year and Team vs. Team records from 1960 to present with the following exceptions: Saltsburg 1966-Present; Apollo-Ridge 1972-Present; Derry Area 1972-Present; Shannock Valley / Armstrong East / West Shamokin 1972-Present. Additionally, Indiana Area has results back to 1910, Laurel Valley results back to 1953 (Thanks Doug Kurtz!), Ligonier Valley back to 1900 (Thanks Doug Kurtz!) and United has results from 1940 to present. * The All-Time Year-by-Year and Team vs. Team records are on a team-by-team basis. For example, Indiana and Blairsville played each other in the 1950s, but since Blairsville's results only go back to 1960, those games are only reflected in Indiana's records. * Finally, the All-Time Year-by-Year and Team vs. Team records are school-name sensitive. For example, United's results are only reflective of 1952 to present, when the school changed its name from Armagh. Have suggestions or comments? E-mail Data Center Coordinator Paul Rossman .
